Writing has always been a significant part of my life. Whether that was creating imaginative stories about my pet cat, Dillon, or amusing film reviews on Letterboxd.

In recent years, as writing becomes an increasingly academic medium for me, I’ve realised that my personal interests deserve their own space, separate from the formality and rigour of academic literature.

My blog, previously named ‘film a la mode’, is a place for me to share my writing without criticism.

Here, you will find pieces on a myriad of topics, such as film, literature, philosophy, fashion, and music. Any topic that I feel compelled to write about will be covered, there is no set theme!
